This achromatic objective has 20x magnification and a 0.69µm resolution limit. The objective is infinity-corrected. It can be used to study samples of 1µm and smaller over a large field of view. It is suitable for laboratory examination of biological fluids such as blood or urine (counting the number of leukocytes, red blood cells, cylinders).
The MAGUS MA20 20x/0.40 objective is used with 10x to 20x eyepieces. The objective corrects color aberration for blue and red, spherical distortion for green, and field curvature for 65% of the field of view diameter. During observations, use a cover glass of 0.17 mm thickness.
